Title
A great Molly Miller Blenny!
Origin: West Americas

Size info:
Size L: approx. 2 - 3"

There once was a Molly Miller Blenny,
With a head that was crowned so trendy.
It lived in the sea,
And its color, oh gee!
Its skin was a yellow so bendy.

This fish has a crest on its head,
A unique feature it's often said.
It swims in the sand,
With a wave of its hand,
And feeds on small creatures it's led.

But don't let its size fool you, my friend,
This blenny can fiercely defend.
With teeth oh so sharp,
It's no easy mark,
And its bite can really contend.

So if you see a Molly Miller Blenny,
Take a moment to appreciate any,
For its beauty and charm,
Will leave you with warm,
And admiration for this fish aplenty!

Keeping Molly Miller Blenny in an Aquarium

The Molly Miller Blenny, also known as Scartella cristata, is a small, colorful fish that is a popular choice for home aquariums. These fish are native to the western Atlantic Ocean and can be found in the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, and along the coast of Florida.

Tank Requirements

To keep Molly Miller Blennies in an aquarium, you will need a tank that is at least 30 gallons in size. These fish are active swimmers and need plenty of space to move around. You should also provide plenty of hiding places in the form of rocks, caves, and other decorations.

Molly Miller Blennies are hardy fish that can tolerate a wide range of water conditions. They prefer a temperature range of 72-78°F and a pH range of 8.1-8.4. You should also provide a moderate to strong water flow in the tank to mimic their natural habitat.

Diet

Molly Miller Blennies are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods in the aquarium. Their diet should include a mix of meaty and vegetable-based foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, algae, and spirulina flakes. You should also provide a variety of feeding locations in the tank to prevent aggression between fish.

Behavior

Molly Miller Blennies are peaceful fish that can be kept with other non-aggressive species. They are active swimmers and will spend most of their time exploring their surroundings. These fish are also known for their interesting behavior of "perching" on rocks and other surfaces, which makes them a fascinating addition to any aquarium.
