Keeping the Goldbar Wrasse in an Aquarium
The Goldbar Wrasse, also known as Thalassoma hebraicum, is a beautiful and colorful fish that can be a great addition to a saltwater aquarium. Here are some things to keep in mind when caring for this species:
Tank Size
The Goldbar Wrasse needs a tank that is at least 50 gallons in size. They are active swimmers and need plenty of space to move around. They also like to hide, so make sure there are plenty of rocks and caves for them to explore.
Diet
The Goldbar Wrasse is a carnivore and needs a varied diet that includes meaty foods like shrimp, squid, and fish. They also like to graze on algae, so make sure there is plenty of algae in the tank for them to eat.
Behavior
The Goldbar Wrasse is a peaceful fish that gets along well with other species. However, they can be territorial with other wrasses, so it's best to keep them with other peaceful fish.
Coolest Stuff
One of the coolest things about the Goldbar Wrasse is their ability to change color. They have the ability to change from a bright yellow to a deep blue-green color depending on their mood and environment. They are also known for their acrobatic swimming style and can often be seen darting around the tank.
