Keeping Triangle Butterfly (Chaetodon baronessa) in an Aquarium

The Triangle Butterfly, also known as Chaetodon baronessa, is a stunning and colorful fish that can be kept in a home aquarium. Here are some important things to know about caring for this fish:

Tank Size

The Triangle Butterfly is a relatively small fish, growing to only about 4-5 inches in length. However, they are active swimmers and need plenty of space to move around. A tank size of at least 75 gallons is recommended.

Diet

The Triangle Butterfly is a carnivore and should be fed a varied diet that includes meaty foods such as frozen or live brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and krill. They may also accept flake or pellet foods, but these should not be the primary source of their diet.

Compatibility

The Triangle Butterfly is generally peaceful and can be kept with other peaceful fish in a community aquarium. However, they may become territorial towards other butterflyfish or similar-looking species. They should not be kept with aggressive or predatory fish.
