Keeping Scopas Tang in an Aquarium

The Scopas Tang, also known as Zebrasoma scopas, is a popular saltwater fish that can be found in the Indo-Pacific region. It is a hardy fish that can adapt to most aquarium environments, making it a great choice for beginner and experienced aquarists alike.

When keeping Scopas Tang in an aquarium, it is important to provide a tank of at least 75 gallons, with plenty of hiding places such as caves and crevices. They prefer a well-lit environment, and the aquarium should be properly maintained with a protein skimmer, adequate filtration, and consistent water flow.

Scopas Tangs are herbivores and should be fed a diet that includes a mix of seaweed, algae, and other plant-based foods. They are active swimmers and appreciate a spacious tank with plenty of room to explore.
